-Aurelius is a very smart eight year old boy who lives in Morris. He is the big brother to two younger sisters. He enjoys spending time with his mom, dad, and sisters. He enjoys reading, watching movies (Harry Potter and Star Wars are some favorites), playing video games, board games, chess, soccer, and going to the park. He is seeking a mentor who is patient, likes to read, play chess and/or soccer, and can help him grow socially.

In the slower moment of October we have been able to think strategically about how to make our program stronger, and how to better support our mentor matches. Our Activities Committee have set a few goals for the coming year to work towards providing activities for our community and program participants. There goals for the year are:
1. Establish an informal standing monthly activity time for mentors, mentees, and waiting program participants to gather, socialize, and have activity options (we are calling these meeting times “Mentor & Mingle” times) with four additional educational/recreational events.
2. Support mentoring matches with additional resources for engaging in meaningful opportunities for growth. (We are calling these opportunities “Mentor Mixers”)
We are excited about creating new opportunities for our program participants!
We are still preparing for Give to the Max Day coming up on November 16th! We are hoping to raise $10,000 on the largest online giving day of the year. We are already have $6,000 committed!!!
