As you should already know, Give to the Max Day is one month away on November 16th! Of course we celebrate the largest online giving day in MN. This year our goal is to raise $10,000 to support our program on Give to the Max Day--the most exciting part about our campaign is that we already have a $5,000 generously donated as a donor challenge to help get us to our goal. We are still collecting "Why Mentoring?" for this campaign. We will be collecting photos leading up to G2MD, but hope to collect the majority of them by Nov. 1st. Have you made your's yet?
We are looking forward to attending SCMC's Fall Into Health event on Monday, October 23rd where we will have a table with information and will be featuring a "Healthy Kids Jeopardy" game with prizes. We hope you all will stop by and visit us.
It seems too early, but there is no such thing. We are beginning our plans for our float for the Parade of Lights on Nov. 15th, as well.
On December 4th at 6:30pm at the Morris Area High School Auditorium we will be showing the documentary "Resilience" about the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences and the hope that invested communities can offer. We hope to see you all there.
The most exciting part of this week has been meeting with a family of TWO young people seeking mentors. We look forward to finding a great mentor for them!
Until Next Week,
